The Department of Business Administration organized an industrial expert lecture on 30/03/2019. The speaker of this lecture was Mr. Samax Rana Jain, HR Manager, Deutsche Bank, Jaipur. The lecture was given on the topic 'HR Analytics'. The students of BBA department second semester interacted fully with the speaker. The speaker started the session with an introduction of HR Analytics wherein he described what HR Analytics is and how it is used in various ways in an organization. He also informed how the data is gathered in the organization from sources like employee surveys, attendance records, salary and promotion history, employee work history, recruitment process, biometrics etc. To make these sources more clear he conducted a case study dividing the students in small groups.

The session concluded on how HR Analytics helps human resource management to make better decisions using data and testing the effectiveness of human resource interventions. There was a strong participation and appreciation by the students for the lecture.
