Dr Arathi Rao, Associate Professor, MPH Programme, Department of Health Policy, Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal delivered an awareness talk on the occasion of National Girl Child Day which was broadcasted by Radio Manipal FM 90.4
During the programme Dr Arathi Rao spoke regarding the importance of Celebrating National Girl Child Day; how females play an important role in all aspects of the lives of human beings; how the love, care and affection of females can help humans in terms of health, happiness, and to improve their lives; what can be done to improve the lives of females, girl children all over India; what is being done to provide education, nutrition, growth and development regarding girl children; how the government, various private associations and institutions are conducting campaigns, taking measures to improve the lives of girl children etc.
