The Inauguration ceremony of the Human Rights Cell at School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur was organized on 28th August, 2019 with Hon'Ble Justice P.C. Tatia being the Chief Guest of the auspicious occasion. In his inaugural address, Hon'ble Justice PC. Tatia highlighted the contemporary issues of human rights violation, laying emphasis upon their role during the life cycle of the human beings and even after their death. Justice Tatia motivated young scholars of law to utilize the knowledge of law in practical aspects for uplifting the status of deserving sections of society.

Prof. H.R. Kamath, Registrar, Manipal University Jaipur felicitated hon'ble justice Tatia and Prof. Mridul Shrivastava, Dean Faculty of Arts & Law sought for a joint collaborative efforts between Manipal University Jaipur & Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission.


The entire ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Kuldeep Singh Panwar who provided detailed insights into the working of Human Rights Cell. Prof. Vijaylaxmi Sharma, Head, Department of Law delivered vote of thanks encouraging the executive committee of the human rights cell to work pro-bono for the society. The function was bestowed with the presence of Prof. N.D. Mathur and Prof. M.L. Vadera amongst others.
