TSB Orientation Programme 2019

TAPMI school of Business welcomed the new batch of 2019-21 with an inauguration ceremony on 31st July 2019. The programme started with ceremonial lamp lightening by the Chief Guest- Ms Nidhi Lauria, the CEO, Airtel Rajasthan, the Registrar Prof Ravi Shankar Kamath, Dean Prof Sudhendar Hanumantha Rao, the Director Prof Savitha B Shelley and the Head of the Department, Prof Samar Sarabhai.

The chief guest- Ms. Lauria, CEO ,Airtel Rajasthan shared her experiences of the industry and emphasized on the importance of maintaining positivity at the work place and sharing a cordial relationship with the peers. She entertained the students with real life examples and anecdotes. Her words were uplifting and inspirational.

The students had the privilege of meeting an alumni, MrNishant Sharmaon 2nd August 2019. Mr Nishant Sharma works as a senior sales officer in Dabur. He educated the students on the importance of developing soft skills for interviews and career. As many as 70 students attended the session and interacted with him. He briefed the students about the significance of internships and how they elevate the learning of a business student.

On the 9th August 2019 students got the opportunity of meeting yet another successful alumni MrKanhan Vijay. Mr Kanhan works with Ernst and Young. Around 70 students attended the session. In his session he emphasized on the importance of attending classes irrespective of the stream one chooses and advised on how to deal with digital distraction. By using the examples of his batch mates, he explained the batch about focusing on the areas which are weak, be it english, maths or any technical areas.
