Social Connect Program by Department of Interior Design

Department of Interior Design, Manipal in association with NGO 'Raghukul', arranged an extension/outreach activity for underprivileged children to enhance their creative development on both mental and physical aspects. Interior design students visited Mrs Sadhana Garg, the founder chairperson of Raghukul Trust and discussed on how to help the children by pondering over various strategies and getting valuable input from her to formalizing the outreach program.

The Raghukul Ngo with the under privileged society of Rana's since 1995. The took place at Rajkiya Adarsh Madhyamik , (Jhotwada), Jaipur for children (Class - 1st to 9th). The event was organized to pass the knowledge and experiences of university students to the school children to bring out creative nature and thoughts within, by enhancing the painting and crafting skills. Our 20 students took the initiative of getting involved and worked enthusiastically. The level of zeal and enthusiasm among the children was incomparable. The Head Master of the school also appreciated the efforts of our students for conducting the event and interacting with the children.
