Expert talk on "Future of Cyber Security and its career aspects"

Under the umbrella of School of Basic Science, Department of Computer Applications organised an expert talk on the topic " Future of Cyber Security and its career aspects" on August 20,2019(Tuesday) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The talk was in line with the MoU signed by MUJ and CyberOps Infosec . Mrs Kuntal Gaur was convener of the talk .The talk was delivered by Mr Palash Verma, who is Cyber Security Analyst and Researcher at CyberOps Infosec.

Mr Palash is OSCP certified ,which is considered as one of the top certificates for the people working in Cyber Security. Mr Palash shared with students his experience of working closely with Government of Rajasthan for solving a cybercrime , which involved tracking down a terrorist. He also informed students about the acute shortage of Cyber Security Analysts In India, that makes the job of Security Analyst highly demanded and rewarding. The talk was attended by 120 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Session was highly interactive and students were very excited to gain knowledge of career prospects in Cyber Security.
