One-week Short Term Training Program (STTP) on "Lean Six Sigma"
Department of Automobile Engineering and Directorate of Quality & Compliance, Manipal University Jaipur organized One-week Short Term Training Program (STTP) on "Lean Six Sigma" during May 21-25, 2019.
The STTP aimed to provide exposure to the key concepts, tools, and techniques of Lean Six Sigma (LSS), which serves as a structured methodology for problem solving in variety of scenarios. The LSS methodology aims towards continuous improvement in quality management. The objective of this one-week STTP was to familiarize and illustrate the methodology of Lean Six Sigma (LSS). Emphasis was given to practical applications of key concepts, tools, and techniques of LSS. Participants also learnt how to use Minitab software for data analysis and interpretation. Successful completion of this program equipped the participants to systematically analyze an industry problem using LSS. Participants who successfully completed the program with daily assignments/quizzes were provided with Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) Certification, which will prepare them for Green Belt.

A total of 23 participants attended the program. 12 Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificates and 11 Participation Certificates were distributed on successful completion of the program.
