The Expert Lecture & External Review held on 17th March 2026 by Dr. Ritu Singh was a highly anticipated academic event designed to enrich the learning experience of architecture students of IV Semester (2nd Year) for Architectural Design-IV. Focused on their project, Resort Design on a contoured site, the event aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical, real-world application on the topic, “Context Based Design Solutions on Contoured Sites.”

This platform provided students with the opportunity to showcase their design concepts, methodologies, and creative problem-solving skills before a panel of experts from academia and industry. The event also featured a lecture by the distinguished guest speaker, offering valuable insights into architectural design, cultural dynamics, and sustainable practices.

Dr. Ritu Singh, a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at R.C. Khaitan Polytechnic, Jaipur, under the Government Technical Education Department, is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of architecture. With over 18 years of field experience at Studio-9 and an extensive academic background, including a PhD on “Energy Efficient Building Clusters for Hot & Dry Climates of India” from Manipal University Jaipur, she exemplifies expertise in sustainable design.

Dr. Singh holds a Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree in Architecture with top honors and is an active member of the Council of Architecture (COA) and the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA).
