The Department of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (DLASS), Manipal University Jaipur, organized a Guest Lecture titled “Science of Peak Performance: The Psychology, Physiology and Yogic Connection” on 11th March 2026 for BPES I, II, and III Year students. The lecture was delivered by Krzysztof Stec, Senior Lecturer at the Collegium Medicum, Jan Dlugosz University, Poland.

The session focused on explaining the scientific relationship between psychological processes, physiological functioning, and yogic practices in achieving optimal human performance and maintaining overall health. During the lecture, Dr. Stec discussed important aspects such as the mind–body connection, role of breathing techniques, stress management, and the impact of yoga on physical fitness and mental well-being.

The lecture was highly interactive, allowing students to engage in discussions and gain deeper insights into how concepts from sports psychology, anatomy and physiology, and yogic science can be applied to improve performance, health, and lifestyle. The session served as an important academic enrichment activity that complemented the ongoing courses and enhanced students’ understanding of holistic approaches to fitness and well-being.
