MUJ participation in World Plumbing Day (WPD) celebration organized by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), Jaipur Chapter on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, at Hotel Rudra Vilas
The faculty members and students of Manipal University Jaipur enthusiastically participated in the World Plumbing Day (WPD) celebration organized by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), Jaipur Chapter on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, at Hotel Rudra Vilas. The event, held from 10:15 AM onwards, served as an important platform to promote awareness about efficient plumbing practices, sanitation, and sustainable water management.
The participation from Manipal University Jaipur reflected a strong academic and professional interest in the critical role of plumbing systems in public health and environmental sustainability. Faculty members actively engaged with industry experts, contributing to meaningful discussions on contemporary challenges in plumbing design, water conservation techniques, and the integration of sustainable practices in the built environment.
Students, particularly from architecture and allied disciplines, benefited immensely from the interactive sessions, technical presentations, and knowledge-sharing opportunities provided during the event. Exposure to real-world practices and innovations in plumbing systems helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. The event also highlighted the importance of responsible water usage and the role of future professionals in addressing global water and sanitation issues.
